About the Role
The Intermediate Architectural Technologist is responsible for leading the preparation of detailed design and construction documentation while coordinating with internal and external teams. This role builds on foundational technical knowledge and contributes to project delivery across various building types and project phases.
Documentation
Lead and produce drawing sets for permit and construction documentation using Revit.
Review and contribute to the accuracy and quality of technical drawings and coordination.
Perform building code analyses and prepares compliance reports.
Conduct research on products, materials, and systems to inform technical detailing.
Project Support + Coordination
Report on project progress to the Project Manager or Job Captain.
Coordinate input from subconsultants under guidance from senior staff.
Liaise with clients and municipal authorities as requested.
Support submission processes for municipal approvals.
Ensure all work aligns with the firm’s Project Delivery standards, including proper use of filing systems, adherence to architectural procedures, and compliance with drawing and documentation protocols.

Qualifications
Architectural Technologist Diploma or related discipline from a recognized institution.
5–10 years of experience in an architectural firm.
Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD; familiarity with Bluebeam, SketchUp and Autodesk Construction Cloud is an asset.
Strong knowledge of construction systems, detailing, and code compliance.
Effective communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and contribute to project delivery goals.
