About the Role
We are currently seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate brings strong writing and editing skills, enthusiasm about managing social media platforms and websites and interest in supporting the partners in the proposal writing process. Ideally the candidate brings general strong administrative skills and is not afraid being a “jack/jill of all trades”.
Job Summary
The Marketing and Proposal Specialist supports the development of proposals and execution of strategic marketing and communications initiatives that enhance OTA’s brand and market presence on social media and the web. Working closely with the firms partners and Director of Design Technology this role creates compelling content that showcases our people, projects, and values across digital and print platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Develop engaging marketing and communications content that highlights OTA’s brand, value proposition, projects, and team.
Coordinate inputs from internal teams and consultants to support initiatives such as project narratives, team CVs, events, speaking engagements, sponsorships, media campaigns, award submissions, and PR.
Prepare and publish marketing content across digital channels, including the website, social media, intranet, and online publications.
Create marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, and other promotional materials.
Maintain accurate and current marketing databases, including project narratives, staff bios, and process documentation.
Provide support for administrative tasks such as fee letters, meeting minutes on an occasional basis
Provide support for proposal submissions and other cross-functional initiatives as needed.

Participate in firm-wide marketing initiatives and brainstorming sessions
Promote a collaborative team environment while working independently
Able to work in a collaborative, virtual-office environment. Self starting and self initiative to engage with team members via MS Teams and other online tools
Qualifications
Degree in marketing, communications, architecture, or a related field
5-7 years of relevant experience, ideally in the architectural, construction or design sector
Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, other graphic design tools and Microsoft Office, social media platform management and website management.
Excellent writing, graphics, editing, and organizational skills
Proficiency with website management software such as Squarespace or Wix is an asset
Ability to manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail.
